Crafty Clearance

Derby Report written by Derby runner

Gwyn and Tracey enjoyed a walk through the sunny arboretum between the city centre and Mrs V's flat.

Mrs V gave us a warm friendly welcome and showed us up to her spare room where she had some pieces of furniture that were no longer needed. We were able to move most of these down a flight of stairs, and pile them up ready for the Council to collect tomorrow. Unfortunately she didn't have an allen key to dismantle the bunk bed, so that will be a job for another day.

Mrs V is looking forward to moving her sewing machine into the room and using it for a craft space. It really catches the sun, so will be superb for that purpose.

There was an opportunity to watch cricket practice on a hot summery day. We all had a great morning, despite a rumoured cake not appearing.
