Redbridge Report written by Linda Sharman
A big welcome to Marie and Hayder our two newest GG recruits to the Food Bank at Frenford.
With the four of us quickly clearing donations from the local scouts we decided to make good use of the spare time by checking the BBE dates on the stock. A few out of date items were left with a sign telling people to help themselves at their own risk and a couple of jars of peanut butter that would be out if date by our next deliveries went to a kind church goer who will use them to bake cakes for a fund raiser for the church that our generous scouts attend...nothing goes to waste if we can help it.😁
Report from Hayder ... It was lovely we had to sort out the dates for the food (me and Marie) and Linda and ed were very nice to us. Hope to do it again.
We hope you will do it again too, you were all a great help.

Sunday 19th January
Hayder Sayed earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Hayder completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Hayder was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
Sunday 19th January
Hayder Sayed has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Hayder is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Hackney Report written by Dan (He/ him)
11 Goodgymers arrived on this Funday Sunday task to help the Hoxton Trust with their compost area.
After a great introduction from Eslam we split up into smaller groups to tackle different areas of the composting process.
One group started turning compost and moving it into a specific area in the garden. Whilst the other starting filling the Jute Sacks, layering them like a lasagne with different ingredidents including Coffee Chaffs and twiggs.
It was great to see everyone getting stuck in, and having a go at the big wheelbarrow push over the compost hill! The garden has very little capacity so amazing to see such a big turn out to help them.
Welcome Hayder and Zharina to their first good deed! And well done Lobo and Rue for their second good deed of the day taking part in the weekly London Fields Park Run.
And well done to those that joined the social run, adding KMs to the January Challenge 🏃♀️

The garden has very little capacity and the volunteers are at the heart of the activity so this will give the opportunity to the community to access these resources
