Fourteen GoodGymmers gathered at Gynsills, Leicester for a Christmas get together filled with jumpers, sequins, glitter, and classic red GoodGym T's. We filled the longest table they had.

Everyone happily opted for the carvery, piling plates with all the trimmings. But the real showstopper? The desserts. One of them looked like it could feed a small family, and the collective gasp around the table said it all. Faces lit up even more when the doggy bags appeared haha.

It was an evening full of fun, laughter, and plenty of catching up. Some people met fellow GoodGymmers they’d only ever heard about from different days and groups, making the night feel even more special. Shout out to Jimmy who made the journey on his bike, keeping up the Goodgym ethos! And a special shout out for Lindsay who organised the event weldone!

A fabulous morning for tidying up the towpath! Goodgymers Mohamed, Ian, Nick and Jen met up with CRT Rich, Peter and Alison for a partnership task. Unusually the area was relatively tidy which resulted in 4 bags of litter collected by Jen and Alison. The rest of the gang did an excellent job clearing the leaves and vegetation off the towpath- it looks superb. Well done to Mohamed for running 10km to the meeting point and also to Ian for walking 4.26 miles!

We had parkrun event 125 at abbeypark and Martin was there, at Braunstone we had Jimmy and Ian we had Dave at watermead and at Melton we had Nick well done all.

Today was a special Day for Jimmy who not only volunteered but also ran his 600th parkrun he was joined by Sheila and Ian at Braunstone.we had Katy at Beacon hill Ashley at Melton and Martin at abbeypark all making the world 🌎 a better place.

It was definitely a Treat for the parkrun community today as the good gym community was making sure it went ahead safely we had Jimmy and Ian and Sheila and Amanda at Braunstone and we had Katy at watermead all making the world 🌎 a better place.

This week parkrun announced it had its 1 millionth volunteer and today 5 of them volunteered in leicester Martin at abbeypark Jeanette and Katy at watermead and Jimmy and Ian at Braunstone well done all.
