Sian, Ben, Maimoona and Laura ran a 4.4km loop around Cheadle, stopping to deliver some donations to a local foodback collection and whilst discovering a new route which links up two key points in the local area!

It was great to see Sian back running only 8 weeks postpartum!

Christmas cracking turnout today! Great to meet Rhi as well as Christopher again for an efficient clearing up task.

Following various parkrun excursions, we convened on the Fallowfield campus, parking with various degrees of success or coming from Salford by bus, or on foot via the Fallowfield Loop or Didsbury.

Following the Christmas Day meal for recent care leavers, we were tasked with clearing up the entrance hall of decorations and cataloging the leftover gifts and activities ready for next year. We managed to remove any rubbish, recycle leftover cardboard, and bag up any items of food that could be re-purposed.

After just 45 minutes, we were done and dusted (record time apparently) and made our way home. Great to meet other volunteers too, some of whom helped out on the day and it sounded like a good event for the attendees.

Tonight saw our annual Christmas run to see the festive lights! 🎄

Each year the residents of Warwick Drive in Hazel Grove deck their houses with the most marvelous display of Christmas lights and scenery to raise money for Make a Wish Foundation. Make a Wish Foundation aims to provide life changing experiences for children with life changing illnesses. 🌟

The running group began from Life Leisure Bramhall and met the walking group en route before navigating our way to view the spectacular delights of Warwick Drive. ⛄️

Alongside regular goodgymers, it was lovely to welcome Juno 🐶 and Dougie 🐶 and 2024's newest recruits, Olive 👶 and Emmy 👶.

We enjoyed festive mince pies and baked goods before jogging back home. 🥧🍪
