Well, I have just about thawed out after a super chilly morning at Mowbray Park!

It was truly a morning to wave goodbye to autumn and say hello to winter!

It was great to see so many runners braving the cold and three achieving milestones!

Also great to have fan favourite Michael back on mission - hope to see you again soon!

Three goodgymers volunteered at Whitley bay junior parkrun on a very wet sunday morning! 52 young runners braved the wet and we ensured they were safe to do so.

I was run director and Michael and Muhannad had a very special job of being extra marshals to make sure the young runners didn't run into some temporary fencing around the Panama swimming club building.

It was wet and cold but a short and successful mission!

I believe that GoodGym Newcastle were helping out at three local junior parkruns today! Michael and I were waving the flag for Saltwell Park … or make that waving the umbrella! Yes, it was raining! But that certainly didn’t deter either the runners or the volunteers - it was like water off a duck’s back!
