We came together once again to prepare and enjoy a hearty, healthy meal – featuring delicious chickpea curry, hot rotis, comforting dal, cooling yogurt, a fresh salad, and creamy Seviyaan milk pudding for dessert. The kitchen was alive with energy – pans sizzling, rotis puffing, black pepper grinding, and yes, plenty of washing up! We all sat down together to share a nutritious meal made with love and teamwork. Big thanks to all the GoodGym Member and temple in making the session a success.

We cooked up a delicious Aloo and aubergine curry, served with freshly made hot rotis, cooling yogurt, and creamy rice pudding. The pans were sizzling, the rotis were puffing, and the sink was full. After all the chopping, stirring, rolling, and washing, we all sat down together and shared an amazing, delicious meal.

This Sunday 4 Luton Goodgymers joined the Limbury Residents and Kev from ABCD-IN-LUTON on the next leg of the Great British Spring Clean.
15 attendees (including Spiderman and a dog) spent an hour collecting all sorts of treasures from clothes and shoes 👞 , to power tools and quite a considerable amount of red wine bottles. Someone definitely enjoyed themselves down there recently. 25 bags were collected and Kev heads off to his next event.
Well done team, great effort this morning 🌄 👏 👍🏻 💪 👌

The final days of January and our last effort at getting empty tubs to various Greene King Pubs for their recycling and charity scheme. I can’t believe that we were still able to track down some empty tubs, but the good people of Luton and Dunstable seem to still be polishing off their Christmas goodies, including Duncan’s family who have at last finished the tub of Jacobs Crackers.
Ella’s netball team provided her with a boot full of tubs, that’s a lot of jumping around they will need to do to burn off all that chocolate. Pam took a stroll up to the Hungry Horse and created a Tub2Pub Jenga with Duncan’s Cracker tub. Gill found herself passing the Red Lion in Stevenage on her walk to the physiotherapist, so she ran back to her car to fetch the tub and deliver it. Charmaine and Martin pared up to deliver a tub of Roses to the Biscot Mill while Neil and Sheets went to The Anchor with their Heroes Tubs.
Hopefully we have now cleared up all the empty tubs from our friends and family and have made a fabulous contribution to the Greene King Macmillan/Recycling Scheme.
Well done to everyone who participated this year.
