Share the love

It was a cold, misty night, when the stars were bright and the lights were shining, shining in the streets.

12 GoodGym runners headed to Eric Williams House to chat and bring festive cheer to the residents. Having found the Christmas lights in town and the surrounding streets, we brought our bright and cheerful personalities to the care home for residents with Dementia.

On our arrival, the residents were ready for a sing a long so we dutifully provided this. Spotify and google came to our rescue with music and lyrics and we serenaded the group. It was great to discover that more than a few of the members of GoodGym Coventry can actually carry a tune- thanks Susanne and Graeme and the rest of the crew also sounded pretty good!

Mince pies and biscuits were shared with the residents and we headed back through the mist to Drapers.

Don't forget we will next meet in 2 weeks but keep your eyes peeled for other Community Missions or races. Congratulations Muntasir on running your 10th run with us!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Thanks for your support in 2019 and all the best for 2020! Liz x
