Jordan’s first ever mission got off to a great start with a simple “clearing” aim for the area of garden by the washing line. We always favour a good “clearing” rather than a “keep these really important plants” instruction!

Licked into the back garden, it was one Melanie had been to before a few years ago but looked suspiciously similar with bramble, bindweed and grass taking hold.

Snippers, loppers, shears and a big fork meant that 90 minutes flew by and multiple bin bags were filled with the new, patented, GG Bristol strategy of lining the flimsy bin bag with bindweed, then chopping up the brambles on top and continuing layering until the bag is full - it’s going to become a world-famous method, you saw it here first.
