Despite the change in the weather, 4 of us braved the wind and met Gordon at King's meadow to tackle some dock leaves. The lack of rain recently made digging hard going, but Michal assured us that even removing the leaves weakened the plant and stopped them spreading.
After 45 minutes we admitted defeat and headed home to our warm homes.

The local residents would like to see this area improved to create a new wildflower meadow with some trees planted round the edges. There are residents who are happy to help look after the area but they would benefit from some help to get the area started.
