3 GoodGymers went to Wolvercote in Oxford to help the local M.E. group OMEGA at a big event with Talk by David Tuller!

Team Rachael and Rachel are on fire since earning their garlands of joy last week. We poured water, put up signs, wheeled wheelchairs, welcomed the 85 or so people who had traveled from all over the country and directed people so they didn't get lost.

Trev was proud to have organised his first community mission (great to experience what Taskforce do before taking over as Run Leader) he even ended up facilitating a QandA! (you can't keep him away from the microphone too long!!) ;)

David Tuller (the speaker) gave a very interesting talk about his findings on the controversial M.E. research.. Here he is ripping up the The Lightning Process Trial!

GoodGym stayed for the whole talk and helped take people back to their cars and packed up mats and cushions people had been resting on during the talk.

Pat from OMEGA said "GoodGym were very very helpful to the event!".
Angela said "you were all great!" Someone even gave us a donation for GoodGym :). Some happy people used our energy, very appreciated... so a win win for Oxford GoodGym.

OMEGA(Oxfordshire ME Group for Action) is a countywide membership organisation for people with ME, CFS and related conditions. Our committee consisits of volunteers, all of whom are ill themselves and/or are carers for people who are ill. Because our members have limited energy they may need extra assistance, not in a predictable way.
