Darshini and I had an interesting time at Mrs S's this afternoon tackling what should have been a quick an easy task if it hadn't been for the lawn mowers. Well I have never known a mower that cuts out every couple of minutes because it doesn't like cutting grass, but both the mini batter operated mowers were not happy this afternoon and took us a long time to get the hang of them. I could feel Darshini's frustration as the mower cut out yet again, while I tackled the edges with an almost equally reluctant trimmer.

But the sun was shining, the sky was blue and it was good for us both to get out from our desks and get some fresh air and exercise, so we didn't grumble. However it took us most our allotted time to complete the front garden so we weren't able to start on the back. That'll be a task for another day.

Finally, when all was trim Darshini swept up while I put the mowers away and sorted out a few weeds on the pathway.

Mrs S seemed really pleased with our efforts and wished us well. We may be back...
