As we ran through today's list, Ms D was keen to point out that whilst most of the list looked familiar, she had introduced a few different items (I thought initially to keep my on my toes...), but as she explained "it's good to mix things up once in a while", for which I gave her my wholehearted agreement.

So alongside the familiars, today's trip to the polite aisles involved a visit to the deli counter for sausages (Ms D already had a potato ready for her sausage and mash dinner), feta cheese (which took some finding amongst the vast array of choice), and a "small tin" of baked beans - for which we deliberated during the briefing as to what size this actually meant.

In the end everything fitted into the basket, and more conveniently into her large bag for life, and after witnessing a bit of "unexpected activity" in the check out area, I was soon home with everything she'd asked for this week. A quick drop off of her rubbish outside and it was mission complete for another week.
