Gardening maintenance and foodbank donations
Improve the grounds for visitors with a general tidy up of the garden
Location
Date and time
18:15 - 19:45Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.
Join us for a tidy up at St Matthew's Church in their garden of rest.
We're also asking for food and drink donations for one of our volunteers to take to a foodbank they help out at. Please bring anything with a fairly long shelf life that you can give to our volunteer in the church car park and they can take away in their car and deliver to the foodbank they volunteer with on another day. If you have a cardboard box to place donations in, that would be great.
This is part of a national GoodGym initiative to support foodbanks after Easter when foodbanks tend to be depleted due to their increased use through the Easter school holidays.
You can see what we got up to at a session in February here.
This is a Community Mission (no run) so anyone attending will meet David the task owner at the church. Please bring a pair of gardening gloves and wear clothes you don´t mind getting dirty. We will be outdoors for the entire session.
It will be dark for this task so please consider bringing a headtorch.
The church does have a car park that can be used if driving to this session.
How are you getting there?
