GG VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - parkrun takeover to celebrate Raymond's Life

This will help us honour Raymond and celebrate everything he did for Goodgym WF

parkrun - Walthamstow parkrun
parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.

A week before Christmas friends and family, including Goodgym Waltham Forest, sadly lost Raymond. It is a huge loss and brought lots of sadness to our community. We do, however, want to honour Raymond with the most GG thing ever - take over his local parkrun in Walthamstow, to which he introduced many people and encouraged them to be active!

For a full takeover WE NEED 18 VOLUNTEERS - Can you sign-up and help us make this a reality? Even, if you didn't know Ray directly, it would be good to see as many goodgymmers as possible.

A couple of things:

  1. Please only sign up, if you are committed to attending. Unfortunately, it's quite often now that there are no-shows and last minute cancelations and we really want to avoid that on this important day.

  2. If you're coming, please have your parkrun ID number and we’ll contact you to collect the numbers. You can register to participate in parkruns here

We hope to see as many goodgymmers as possible there and thank you for helping us honour our Goodgym hero Raymond!

Age Restriction

GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
