Who this task will support
Foodshare
Maidenhead Foodbank provide nutritious food to individuals and families who are unable to afford a proper meal every day for themselves or their children.

The Maidenhead and Windsor Foodshare charities provide healthy meals for those facing poverty, and support hundreds of families a week

This week use your run, walk or bike ride to help by dropping off an item or three at one of their collection points. Here's how:

https://www.givefood.org.uk/needs/at/maidenhead/ to see what they need and where you can drop off your donations

https://www.windsorfoodshare.org.uk/donating-food/

  • You can shop for items if you like, or try having a dig through your own cupboards or asking friends and family to do the same.

  • You can complete the task anytime before midnight on the 29th of January

  • Please send Sheila a photo and any memorable anecdotes or genius puns from your mission - it will all make for a fab run report that we can share, helping to raise further awareness for this vital charity. Email Sheila on sheila.attenborough@hotmail.co.uk, or send via WhatsApp
