2 missions
19 GoodGymers made their way 5km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

Tonight's run set out on two missions; a 5k run to Sonali Garden's who'd complained about people at the bus stop chucking rubbish into their front garden, and a 9k run to Hackney Downs where some allotments had been under-tended for about eight years. The shorter run made it back to York Hall in roughly an hour - including making light work of what rubbish they could find at Sonali Gardens.Runners on the 9k were confronted with a serious amount of moundy grassy stuff that needed to be turned into nice plantable soil. Lights had been set up and we got stuck in pretty quickly. We cleared the best of two allotment patches and there will be plenty more where this came from.On the way back we did a bit of sprinting through Hackney Downs to make sure that we were sufficiently knackered. There will be more of this sort of thing next week. Come and join us. Photos: Daniel Weill, Coco Ferguson
