A 100 missions later....
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.
- Tuesday, 24th of November 2020
This is Andrew's 100th mission, welcome to the winged crew.
It's getting a bit chilly now in these dark evenings, but a run soon warms you up. Andrew and Mikey met up outside the house of Mrs. N ready to take on the task.
Without even needing to knock Mrs. N opened the door and greeted us, she explained the task - carrying out two cupboards ready to be collected the next day.
She led us down the side of the house, to the back where we could get the units out easier. It was a bit of a squeeze and dark, however, Andrew had brought with him the Cardiff bag of tricks for Mikey to take and this contained.....LIGHTS 🔦
Mrs. N offered her assistance and lit the way as we carried on. It didn't take us long to move them out and place them safely for collection. We stayed for a while chatting to Mrs. N, telling her a bit more about GoodGym and what we do and finding out a bit about her life.
We said out final farewells, took a photo and headed home.
