It was another cold, but perfectly clear winter evening, as we headed out once again to spend our evening with Santa!
Maurice and Nicola had another wonderful evening with the Crewe and Nantwich Round Table, helping to collect money from the lovely village of Wybunbury. All the money collected goes to support local charities. It was privilege to be out with Santa and his helpers, as we were greeted by lots of smiling, happy children… And adults alike! The magic of Santa doesn’t disappear as people get older.... we saw so many elderly people overjoyed to witness Santa going past on his sleigh tonight and it was as lovely to be able to bring that to their doorsteps.
Apart from seeing the children’s awe and wonder at seeing the man himself, the highlight of our evening was definitely the ride on the float with Santa. Another hi-light was the half way stop where some very kind people had prepared hot sausage rolls, pizza, pork pies and mulled wine!! It was lovely and the mulled wine was warming, which we were very gratedul dor on a cold night!)
By the time the end of the evening had arrived, we’d covered a fair amount of miles, collected a fair amount of money and witnessed more than a fair amount of smiles!!
A wonderful night with truly lovely people.
Lots of love Nicola Xxx
