14 amazing Westminster GoodGymers ran 7k to Little Venice to keep the Canal path clear of rubbish and debris to reduce the water pollution!
Great work getting along to our all action Wednesday workout!
Big thanks to James for his precision back marking a massive help on a long run!
Also super running from everyone, we really hit a great rhythm powering North West and gave us a good amount of time at the task!
After avoiding the foot traffic and the drizzle it was great to get to our special store where we got fully kitted out ready for our canal side clear up! Workout with the Canal and River Trust to keep the waterways of Westminster clear and moving well.
Splitting up into a couple of groups we really stretched the distance West powering out to some previously uncharted GG Westminster territory.
Loading our buckets high we picked up loads of litter and kept it out of the water as well as making the path more usable to pedestrians and cyclists.
Emptying the buckets, and sanitising our hands very enthusiastically before zipping back to base with a very high step count session in the bag!
If you enjoyed that be great to see you for a daylight version on the 26th for a special Starter session meeting the office where we picked up the grabbers and buckets.
See you next week for our session to St Andrews Youth Club!!
Have a great week
