A stab in the dark
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Brunel Primary Care Network in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 9th of January 2021
- Led by Kat Bruce
Katie and Kat arrived ready for the afternoon shift. Katie realised it was going to be a good shift as within minutes of arriving a seagull pooped on her lovely fluffy hat! So that's good luck, right??!?!? Before they could start they had to have a Covid test, which both came back negative. It was quiet to start which provided a perfect opportunity for a handover of roles. Kat started in the waiting room and Katie manned the entrance. As it got dark torches were provided and hopefully hot drinks kept them warm and the pizza kept them going!
300 people done today. Apparently for every 20 vaccinated 1 life is saved. Both Kat and Katie stayed late to allow others that had been there all day to go home a bit earlier :)
