All the spindle ladies...(put paint on it)
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the North End Food Pantry in Portsmouth.

It’s Friday, it’s 5 o’clock and it’s time for another trip to the North End Pantry help out with refreshing their stairs and assist with painting.
Eli and Jo arrived first and got cracking on putting masking tape on the stairs where the spindles were so that we could protect the floor and the bannister. Sinéad and Catherine arrived soon after and were put to work on painting the doors downstairs. Once the masking had finished we started sanding and then painting the spindles. Eli started at the bottom and Jo at the top and we decided to meet in the middle. We were soon joined by Catherine and Sinéad which helped us get a good first coat onto them. Conversations turned into songs and soon Eli and Catherine were singing Beyoncé which gave the inspiration for the report pun.
We did not manage to paint the top of the walls on the stairs but I think we’ll be heading there again to help out soon.
