6 tennis balls, 1 fleece blanket, 3 footballs, 1 jerry can, 136 bottles, 1 shoe, 324 packs of crisps, 1 Swastika, A football linesman's ID card, ...and some LSD.
No, not my weekly shopping list but a list of some of the things we picked up from a small beach on the Thames at Greenwich Peninsular!
It was crazy- recent high tides have resulted in a myriad of items being washed up on the small beach down by Greenwich Peninsular Ecology Park. They asked if we could take a look. It's amazing to think about the amount of stuff that's chucked in the water. Pretty horrible to imagine all the birds getting caught up in this stuff.
We also did a 10k run too. 5k there and back. All in all a pretty good evenings work. Nice one.
