Darland reserve had large group of people to help with cutting back brambles so that they could create a wide enough pathway to build a shed for tools. This was a hard job in the heat but everybody good-naturedly stuck to the task and cleared a good amount of vegetation. They are looking to raise money to deepen the lake and provide a better habitat for aquatic life. amongst other projects for the reserve. It really is a unique place in Barnet well worth a visit!
