Break a Leg
4 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.

Here's what Mr L of SW1P had to say about the mission:
They were fantastic, they were like troopers; they made it nice rather than gloomy. I told the OT how much I appreciated them. We all made fun of it; for young people to do something like that for nothing in return, out of good will, was lovely
Our mission was to remove some unwanted furniture to make way for Mr L’s hospital bed and other equipment so that he could be discharged and return home.
We quickly manoeuvred a bed frame, a mattress and a couple of chairs down four flights of stairs.
Just one table left to move out of the kitchen. A half hour full of 90’s throwbacks - I’m not sure whether we were more reminiscent of the Chuckle Brothers or Ross from Friends - “Pivot!!”.
Mrs L assured us the table was brought into the kitchen in one piece, so we were determined to get it out whole. We tried every possible angle, direction and combination of GoodGym-ers, waiting for that moment where it glided out easily and we would kick ourselves for having missed the obvious. Sadly that moment didn’t come.
Not one to give up halfway through a mission, Michael decided (after asking permission) that there was only one option left...
Note to self: do NOT get on the wrong side of Michael. Not only does he have the strength to break (table) legs, but he’s also quick to dispose of the evidence...
Mrs L was really grateful for our time and Mr L can finally come home.
