11 of the good people from Brompton met up bright and early at their head office to collect their loan bikes. After some hellos and a briefing, we headed off towards the Grand Union Canal for a nice ride in the sun...only to find the path had just been closed for work on a bridge! With a quick map check, we joined the canal path at the next bridge along. The canal was peaceful and beautiful in the sun.
We arrived at Horsenden Farm, grabbed gloves and tools, and quickly got stuck into clearing ground inside and around a mesh greenhouse. It was a warm day so there were rests and water breaks, but these folk made short work of the task! The people from Horsenden Farm were delighted and welcomed us back anytime. After the obligatory group pic, we headed back off down the canal - still as gorgeous as earlier.
Arriving back at Brompton HQ, I was lucky to observe a full range of Brompton bike folding skills - from the expert to the...not so expert! Thanks for a great morning!
