Broom Farm Handover
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Windsor and Maidenhead.

Today was the final session at the new community garden at Broom Farm before being handed over to the residents to continue. Disappointingly, only one mum and her son ( and Gran) turned up. I guess that's the risk you run on a lovely sunny day in the school holidays. It happened to be child W's 3rd birthday, and he had a lovely time watering all the raised beds and pots. We had the first taste of some lovely crisp lettuce, and the first mangetout pods are just beginning to appear. We celebrated with birthday cake, and wish the new garden well

A caterpillar seems a very good choice of cake in a garden 😆. Well done for all your hard work on this project Sheila. Hope the families run with it when the Summer hols are over x
