4 Westminster GoodGymers Plogged away in Little Venice to rid the canal of buckets full of rubbish and plastic!
Unfortunately with a passenger incident at Oxford Circus the New Balance Store was a difficult place to get to!
But the 4 brave runners who made it put on a fun running show!
Running 3.5k out to Little Venice with a little clamber over a fence for some cross training! Getting to the Canal and River trust head office to grab our tools for the evening. Then making our way West grabbing as much litter and plastic as we could pick.
Great to see the canal path much tidier that the last couple month so happily litter was thin on the ground but we did pick plenty out of the bushes and a large out of plastic directly from the water!
With buckets full we made our way back to the compound to drop the rubbish then zip back to Oxford Street at a really great pace! In the Arctic temperatures some of us even managed to get quite hot as for the first time in GG history I was put clothing layered by Jo!! Strong effort!!
Back to base and all ready for home, a nice chilled GoodDeed in the bag!
