Bumper Stars
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the parkrun - Pitshanger junior parkrun in Ealing.

It was all hands on deck this morning at Pitshanger Junior parkrun as the Run Director had heard whispers of a bumper turn out. Having 4 extra GoodGym volunteers would be a great help.
The rumours were true. Next week's Ealing Mini Mile had spurred some children, but probably mostly parents, to come to the closest Junior parkrun for a training session. GoodGymers were deployed around the course to make sure the crowded field made it round safely with:
- Madiha and Sevan marshalling and cheering;
- Steph Ducat as a tailwalker, looking good in his new black tee; and
- Kash barcode scanning
Sevan was manning the first marshal point and after the first lap, he was rushed over to barcode scan too due to the large number of runners. He and Kash were part of a trio of scanners who were kept busy from when the first finisher crossed the line.
Steph reached the funnel a little while later with the 108th runner. This was the largest turn out that they'd had at Pitshanger in a few years and we were super happy to have helped everything run smoothly.
