Bureau of investigation
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Saturday, 8th of February 2020
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon when Anna and I met Ms J (and her cat Lola). She had a couple of jobs around the house that we could help with. Our first job was to help her with her writing bureau, which she'd inherited from her mother. It was a beautiful piece of furniture that she was looking to sell online, but she needed help with taking a photo to show it off! We moved the items that were hiding it and opened it up for the first time in a while. After a photo shoot, we moved everything back and moved into the conservatory. Our second job was an investigation: a search for the missing walking stick! We looked high and low, behind cabinets and under tables, but the missing walking stick could not be found. However, we still were able to help with some reorganisation of the items in the conservatory. We also watered her plants and replenished her bird feeders. We were sorry that weren't able to find the walking stick, but we hope that Ms J finds a suitable home for her writing bureau!

I'm sure that, even though the walking stick remained elusive, Ms J appreciated your efforts! Well done guys!
