Mission

Cashing out...

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

Another great catch up with Mr T this afternoon - after our conversation last week on all things orchestral he greeted me today with the name of the famous French horn player whom he'd previously met but couldn't recall during our last musically themed conversation - he thanked me for proving that his memory was still in good order!

What wasn't in such good order was his local Lidl, which is undergoing a refurbishment (I look forward to the end product because anything has to be an improvement on the current layout), which meant that only one(!) of their multitude of checkouts was taking cash, and even that was proving temperamental, and causing much huffing in the long and heated queue.

Rather than wait forever, I went old school and chose the friendly human being option (thankfully still in existence for now) who during the scanning explained what was going on in the shop - "we close at 6 tonight for the refurb" she said, to which I replied I was very glad I was there at 3.30 then...
