Chairwomen of the (card)Board
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 12th of May 2019
Thanks to Arba's excellent orientation skills ('Is that you in the pink top?...ok, walk to the road...I'm waving at you...') we made it to Mrs J's flat ready to move out some boxes. Mrs J is housebound at the moment, so wasn't able to do the job, and looking at the pile, we weren't sure we were able to either. Until we tried to lift them that is, and found they were as light as air! It didn't take us long to complete the task, so we helped Mrs J with a few other bits and pieces too - like replacing a remote battery, fixing a handle, and adjusting some blinds. After a quick chat, we headed off into the sunshine - Arba to complete the second leg of an epic 12km run!
