After picking up a litter picker Jo had kindly left by her gate for me, I took a sunny stroll all around the common (dressed in my best park ranger gear according to David!) for some litter picking.
There was a ton of the usual cigarette butts and bottle caps, as well as a crazy amount of CO2 cartridges across the common - I lost count how many!
I filled up my tesco bag a few times, emptying it in bins along the way (yes there are a ton of bins along the sea front, people just don't seem to notice them!) keeping the bottles, plastics, cans and paper items to bring home to my recycling bin.
