Deconstructed Winners.
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

There was something quite satisfying in deconstructing Mr P's original flat pack wardrobe back into its constituent ingredients. The benefit of having done quite a few furniture missions and building of such items is that you generally know how they came together in the first place (and where to apply the occasional bit of force)...and to bring along a Phillips screwdriver which proved the absolute must have tool for today.
With only enough space in the wardrobe for one, Latoya and I, with the help of Mr P's daughter/carer, were able to divide up the tasks and get the bedroom cleared such that, once deconstruction was complete all the parts could be leant against the bedroom wall and so create enough space for Mr P's incoming hospital bed and hopefully, make life a little easier both for Mr P and for his daughter, who was very grateful for our efficient efforts.
