Decorating a care home with Good For Nothing
2 GoodGymers made their way 5km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.
- Saturday, 4th of December 2010
- Led by Laura Williams
Last Saturday, the Good Gym was one of 3 projects selected by the guys at Pipeline to be given the chance to work with a large group of creative thinkers, makers and tinkerers willing to do some good for nothing. The aim was to build the Good Gym as much as possible in under 24 hours. It was pretty hectic and very productive. Our team was amazing, making loads of useful bits and bobs we can use straight away and some exciting plans for next stages. A big public thank you goes out to the wonderful people who helped us: Ed Murfitt, Carolina Ballejo, Tommy Herbert, Tansy Drake, Cath, Katy Lindemann, Tom Genower, Jamie Coomber, Charles Olive, John Bevan, Anna Pearson, Zoe Bierman, Louise Armstrong and Tom Bainton. There were more too, please contact us – we don’t want to lose touch! Obviously also a big thanks to Dan and the two Toms for organising the whole thing. Nice one folks!.
