Done there, binned that
17 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Leeds.

After a lovely session of volunteering at parkrun, 17 GoodGymers set about searching for litter in the park to make it a nicer place to be.
We welcomed Haydn who obviously thought GoodGym sounded so great he couldn't wait to get involved in his first good deed! Nice one Haydn!
The group were a little sceptical about how much litter we'd be able to find as the park looked pretty clean, but we all got together some bags and gloves, split up into smaller groups and tackled our own sections of the park. Even Jasper (the GoodGym doggo) got involved by heading straight to pick up a cigarette packet.
There was a surprising amount of litter for a park that looked so clean! There were beer cans, wine bottles, crisp packets, chocolate wrappers and loads more besides, which just goes to show the scale of the problem!
After we'd all finished our loops we reconvened where we'd started before heading off to the cafe.
