After a slight bit of confusion about the actual venue for the task, 6 GG Yorkies eventually arrived at Tang Hall Explore Library, which is definitely not the same place as Tang Hall Community Centre. Even more confusion ensued when we were greeted by a very surpised-looking member of staff who I was told would be expecting us. However, Suzanne from the Library saved the day and was fully prepared for our arrival, even if we were a little later than expected! Oh, and big shout out to Debs for arriving in a car so she could spare Tay and Ange from any more running
Eventually we got underway with the actual task - setting up tables and sorting books. Effectively, it turns out there are only a limited genre of books in the world which can easily be classified the following:
Kids (including troubled teens). Light and Fluffy. A bit dark and murdery. James Patterson/Andy McNab. Historical fiction. War. Biogrophies of very dislikable people.
That's it. No other types of book exist in the history of the written word
We each picked a title for the team photo which we felt best suited us and thus the task was complete
Good fun had by all
