Celebrating Egg doing her 500th good deed this morning and welcoming Rita from Haringey GoodGym, 12 of us helped at Holgate Community Garden.
We edged around the basketball court and climbing frame and finished off edging the paths too.
Several keen GoodGymers arrived early and we got going ahead of time. Having procured 2 additional spades from the garden group and having mastered the technique, 2 speedy teams made quick work of the edging and clearing.
Egg, Cara, Rita, Debbie and Leanne edged round 2 sides of the court whilst Katie, Mitch, David, Mel and Richard edged the other and along the last edge of the path. In addition, Louise finished the leaf raking and Laura cut back the ivy and brambles around the climbing frame ready for paying homage to 'Queen Egg' at the end of the task!
