Two Goodgym Members facilitated the family day tiny Forest Barnet. It was a great turnout for the last event of the year. Thank you to everyone who came.. it was a gloriously sunny day and the kids and adults got stuck in with great enthusiasm!
interestingly Daniel has managed to download the data on carbon capture that we have collected so far and have put it in a spreadsheet. You can see it all coming together, and the trees slowly growing... you can see the height progress in this sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aeYbZGWQcHGA6BIYPJtYxq4Hz2HSU_myEcSH3kM-orQ/edit#gid=2032361779
...and the stem growth in this one: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aeYbZGWQcHGA6BIYPJtYxq4Hz2HSU_myEcSH3kM-orQ/edit#gid=1792825787
(I'm going to try to make these into nicer graphics in some way!)
All the CO2 being captured from the atmosphere! We're not going to solve the climate emergency on our own, but at least we're all making a small contribution!
Thanks to everyone for the sterling work today..
