Every litre helps... so 12 litres is a lot of help
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Wednesday, 6th of May 2020
After a beautiful run across Clapham Common, I arrived at Ms I's house to get her list and also to collect her food vouchers. I then went to ASDA where, to my amazement, there was absolutely no queue. If you live near Clapham Junction, then 11.30am on a Wednesday morning is the time to shop!
Went through the list and slowly realised quite how heavy this shop was. Two four pints of milk, 8 litres of water and then a pint of Ben and Jerry's - and that's not including the fruit and veg!
Luckily our trainer, Mark, has been building our arm muscles during our fitness sessions, so I loaded up my bags and waddled (with a few stops - shh! Don't tell Mark!) back to drop them off with a grateful Ms I.
