From Sizzle To Drizzle

What a difference a day makes. For this morning’s shift John was stationed on the front door. Quite a contrast from the heat of the previous day with Cath offering sun screen to volunteers.
This morning we had constant drizzle until around 11:30 but there were more than enough volunteers in waterproofs to cover the outside jobs.
After a slow start a steady flow of patients followed, all receiving the Pfizer vaccinations today. Given the post jab 15 minute wait it wasn’t long before the waiting room filled up.
Despite the poor weather the patients were all in good spirits and it didn’t seem long before Katie L jogged around the corner and after signing in, took over from me on the front door.
