Steven was Store Manager today and went through a few new rules around covid since re-opening. Setting us our tasks in the back room, Harry and Mel sorted through bags of clothing to hang and put out on the shop floor. Concentrating on men's spring/summer clothing, but not finding much, we did find some lovely kiddies clothing and plenty of ladies' tops, skirts and dresses. So that we were spaced out, Kat got to the bottom of the sizing tag bag, with Harry and Mel calling out for the sizes they needed, and Kat filling up the sections so that we could find what we needed. It was just like being at the Bingo! Mel got a bit confused between her 2 little ducks - 22 and 2 fat ladies - 88, coming up with 2 fat ducks! Staying longer than the session time, Harry found what looked like a brand new jacket with tartan lining which looked fantastic on them plus some baby outfits for their cousin. Kat found a very stylish skirt for the summer, plus a couple of wet suits for Eli and Lynn. Definitely good karma for staying on! Mel purchased a pair of stripey trousers and an Indian style trouser/top/shawl set in a green paisley. Time for a cuppa half way through the session, and Harry had brought us each a very tasty chocolate, chewy brownie which went down a treat - thank you Harry. The time went really quick as always and after a tidy up in the back room and out on the shop floor, it was time to leave and enjoy the rest of the weekend. There will be more Saturday sessions moving forward, so look out for them on the website, sign up and bag your own £1 bargains.
