Gardening Take(s) Two
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.

Here's what Mr F of SL4 had to say about the mission:
"Please thank your volunteers. They did another great job on Mr F’s garden and he is delighted with their work."
Georgeta and Sheila made a return visit to help Mr F with his garden in Windsor, this time taking advantage of some rare sunshine and arriving by bike. The priority for this session was to clear the area nearest to the house, which Mr F can see from the kitchen and bedroom. Sheila swept the patio of moss and took out as many of the weeds as possible that were growing between the paving slabs. Meanwhile, Georgeta did what she does best, and cut back the shrubs. We then moved on to weeding the beds and trying to control the ivy on the fencing. Luckily Mr F has a great selection of tools, which made our job easier. We managed to fill 7 bags with the weeds and pruning, and it was all looking a lot tidier when we left

Kind weather, good company and lots of exercise, what's not to like?... Thanks for writing the report once again Sheila! x
Such great work Sheila and Georgeta!
Thanks for coming up with the report title, Georgeta!
It takes two, but you two seem to manage the work of about five - amazing stuff!
