FIVE GG Yorkies spent two hours of seriously hardcore physical labour to shift SEVEN tonnes of stone and build a new footpath through Acomb Wood.
This was one of the hardest tasks we have come across yet but with four spades and four wheelbarrows (and a small break for Twister ice lollies - thanks Lizzie) we had a full body workout and exceeded the mission objectives by extending the footpath into the woods too.
This project was organised by TCV in York and Ian, who manages the organisation locally, was a great support in providing all the equipment. He also did a fantastic job of raking all the stones into place whilst we dug and 'barrowed.
The world's biggest dog also came to say hello and tested the path for us - if it's good enough for him it's definitely good enough!
