4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Brunel Primary Care Network in Portsmouth.

It was a beautiful spring Friday morning and four eager Goodgym volunteers headed to Southsea Medical centre to help out with the morning shift.
We were soon set to our positions, Paul was near the tent ensuring patients either waited or could go home. He was also carrying out more gardening and removing weeds from around the area with a tablespoon. A new gardening tool that shows anything can be used. Paul also brought some cabbage leaves for John hence the title of the report and bad pun photo.
Andy was in reception and giving patients their COVID cards and information sheets and was doing a double shift so would be there till 2pm.
John was on the front door welcoming patients with the hand sanitiser and stepping in with assistance on the thermometers when needed. Jen’s mum Sharron was also helping today although not via Goodgym and was taking the patients temperatures.
Jo was in the waiting room but it was pretty quiet so she went on the tea and coffee round ensuring all volunteers had a drink if they needed one. She also took up a role of the buddy and stepped into any roles when that volunteer needed a comfort break.
