Honey laundering
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Wednesday, 1st of April 2020
Tonight's mission gave me the opportunity for a short cycle to Ms N's place in Hackney where I confirmed her shopping list was essentially as per the mission briefing which was very handy, so in no time at all I was jogging over to the veritable shopping mecca that is Dalston Sainbury's.
After a short time in a long but well behaved queue I was let loose in the store embarking on something akin to a modern day supermarket sweep given that the shop was closing not all that long after I arrived.
Fortunately I sourced almost all of the items that Ms N had asked for, and having searched high and low I finally stumbled upon some honey which was a relief. Did not want to be turning up back at her house without her honey!
I was too heavily loaded with shopping to jog back to Ms N but even when I arrived she was delighted at how quick the whole trip had been and was most pleased with the haul, wishing me well on my way, for an enjoyable twilight run home along the canal.

Great work, Leo!
Fab mission Leo! Thank you!
Nice one, Leo, though is your bike still at Ms N's place? 🤔
Thanks all :) Well noticed Patrick! I took a dockable bike for the journey to her house to mix up my cardio exercise.
