Thames Valley Adventure Playground is a charity supporting children and adults with all types of special needs, their siblings, parents and carers. They needed their small, indoor sensory room painting white. Kanika and Sheila cycled to the task, whilst huge kudos goes to Anita for walking all the way there. There we met up with Allora and we also welcomed back Sara doing a bit of GoodGym tourism from Slough. Taskowner Gary let us in at the gate, and explained the task. All the equipment was provided, and we set about putting the dust-sheets down to protect the floor and equipment. And then we were off, re-painting the walls white. Sara was the cutting-in expert, Allora, Kanika and Sheila were expert with the rollers, whilst Anita took on the smaller areas needing accurate brushwork. It didn't take us long to finish the job, and we had plenty of time to clear and and wash-up the equipment. Before we left, Gary treated us to a demonstration of the wonders and capabilities of the sensory room - a truly magical place. Thanks to Gary for inviting us - I'm sure we will make a return visit soon Thanks to Sara for providing this great report title!
