It's a full house at Christmas...

After the past few weeks of certain items either not being available or hard to find, Miss L and I had a doorstep discussion about our strategic options in the event anything on her list proved hard to find today. In spite of it being the festive season, we both expected this would be the case.

Imagine her surprise (and mine) when I returned with a full bag and all items ticked off and with 40p in change too...somewhat counterintuitively Waitrose had come to the rescue on eggs, pancakes and pears - well I guess if 2022 has taught us anything it's always to be prepared for the unexpected - and on that note Merry Christmas to all.
