Jab Done!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Crewe.
- Wednesday, 23rd of June 2021
- Led by Maurice Fitzgerald
Today saw the last session at the COVID vaccine centre at the MMU in Crewe and Maurice was there, supporting as always.
Since the start of the vaccine programme in January, Maurice and many others have been regular volunteers - sometimes spending whole days there, several times a week. The volunteer contribution by Goodgym members has been invaluable and I'm proud of every single one of our members that has contributed to this vital process.
I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that it has been a humbling experience as well as privilege to be involved in such an important part of this global effort.
I know that the NHS are holding a volunteer celebration for everyone that has helped and it will be a privilege and a pleasure for us to be able to attend and represent Goodgym.
Well done to everyone for their amazing efforts and work in this programme.

Agreed Nicola, it has been a privilege to be one of the volunteers helping the NHS carry out the Covid vaccination programme this year. We will all be ready and willing to step up again in the future if we are needed to assist the NHS in any capacity that we may be needed to help with. Thank you Nicola for being our inspirational leader.
