Lend a hand at the band(stand!)
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Norwich.
- Saturday, 17th of August 2019
- Led by Norwich runner
It was a lovely day for a parkrun, with no clouds in sight, but still a few puddles lurking on the course.
Richard ran first, achieving a PB, before going to volunteer on the finishing funnel.
I was on wonky barcode duty in the bandstand, and had to disappoint a few people hoping to get their numbers recorded from their mobiles.
I was joined in the bandstand at one point by six runners doing their cool down exercises. Then it was time to help sort tokens, before it was all done and dusted for another week.
