Litoral-ly a shore-fire start to #GGSuperSaturday
9 GoodGymers made their way to help the Southsea Beachwatch in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 21st of September 2019
- Led by Maxine VSG
A super sunny Saturday for the first of our Super Saturday tasks.
We met at Southsea Beach to take part in the Great British Beach Clean. Setting off into a breezy crowd of litter pickers, we found bits of fishing line, a reusable cup (which Katie reused as a waste receptacle), various bits of plastic, a discarded cake box and countless cigarette butts. Katie also found a really cool rock with seaweed on it that looked like hair and Judy discovered some stamped rocks with numbers.
Keep an eye out for Portsmouth News, as we've been papped!
After litter-ally getting a dose of vitamin sea, we headed off to our second task of the day at Baffins Pond!
